I have a 2016 new Toyota Highlander that currently has 912 incandescent bulb for reverse light. It is too dimmed at nighttime while parking. I browse on Highlander forum and see that many driver complain about this issue. I think it may be a common problem on Highlander. Finally, I get suggestion on forum and bough a led replacement bulb to retrofit. Pry the cover off. We can find two bulbs. One is brake light while another one is reverse light. Pull out the reverse light and install the 921 LED Bulb. Plug in and rotate the holder to fix it. Here we should notice that if we buy a led bulb with polarity, we may need to check which side is positive and which side is negative, plug the led bulb in right position.  Put the cover back Just like other people said, this is a simple retrofit. At the weekend, I take two days to retrofit a low beam led headlight kit on Honda Jade. Although finally I don’t choose led headlight but determine to keep my halogen bulbs, I still learn valuable experience by this working. Today I’d like to share with you my retrofit experience and my analyze. Select LED Headlight: this is a COB led headlight and hot-selling in China market. 3800Lm according to seller’s introduction.
