2016 Subaru Outback 2.0T DIY Japan Imported LEDA 5000K LED High Beam Headlight

The 5^th Subaru Outback have upgraded the low beam headlight into LED lighting, nice brightness and light beam. The C shape side marker light comply to Subaru classic family design. Unless the high beam headlight, I don’t understand why Subaru still keep it by halogen bulb, maybe for saving cost? Maybe they think high beam headlight is seldom be used as we go anywhere with the streetlight. But for many people living in the countryside, we have to use high beam headlight at night. The halogen high beam headlight absolute can’t satisfy us. So I buy a headlight conversion kit from Japan LEDA, universal on Subaru. As they say, simply installation, only replace the headlight bulbs only.

Here is the headlight conversion kit from Japan LEDA.

5000K color temperature, 4200 lumen. Traditional halogen headlight bulbs have 2500Lm, PHILIPS HID has 5000-6000lm.

HB3 base. It can be used as HB4, H10 too.

Here is the stock halogen bulbs.

Open the lip, we can find the headlight bulbs there.

 Rotate and pull it out.

I take these pictures on day time, the led headlight bulbs look not so bright on the pictures, but I can feel it be stronger so much actually.
